The Roebuck Primary project was the redevelopment of the existing school building for modernisation and to give it larger capacity for future intake of students.
Working closely with the client, Roebuck Primary School was a demolition project and new build with extension, the grounds were refurbished to envisage a new modern feel. Services catered for on the project included the full design package of both mechanical and electrical design, a well as several services including SBEM with EPC. Thermal modelling was also undertaken to achieve accurate results in terms of heat losses by determining where the most at risk areas were. Site inspections were also regularly undertaken throughout the course of the project to make sure works on site were undertaken in accordance with both the Walker Mower design and the relevant building standards for school and educational facilities.
