Young, hard working and eager to learn a new skill within an entirely new industry.

Jake joined Walker Mower in 2021 as a trainee CAD technician. For Jake, this was a an entirely new industry, into which he's entered with enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn. Since early 2023 Jake has been training to become an Electrical Engineer.

Since starting with the team, Jake has tried his hand at a number of projects, both mechanically and electrically, and has picked up the skill of design work extremely quickly. Having come from an IT background, finding his way around the CAD software was quick and easy, and it's clear from the high quality of work he can produce that his addition to the team was certainly one of good fortune!

Jake has aspirations of one day becoming an Electrical Engineer, having spent the best part of a year working as an Electrician's Mate on sites all around the Capital and home counties. Jake has electrical qualifications, and whilst he found enjoyment from working on site, he has since found a much deeper enjoyment of designing electrical projects instead.

We at Walker Mower are really pleased to have Jake on the team, and we look forward to what his future may bring as he develops his skills in Electrical Engineering.
