Kingston upon Thames

Large scale residential development, consisting of both private and housing association accommodation

The Kingston upon Thames project is a large scheme developed by London Square in the vibrant urban sprawl of South-West London, consisting of two blocks of both private and housing association flats.

Located just a short walk from Richmond Park, the Kingston-upon-Thames development will consist of 52 one, two and three bedroom apartments, 17 of which will be affordable homes. The development is set to be constructed within two bespoke villa-style apartment buildings to give that unique design, set in a wonderful little neighbourhood in Crescent Road, South-West London. Norbiton Station is just a short walk away from the site, and offers train journeys to London Waterloo in just 30 minutes. The scheme will see a change of use from the current setting of an equestrian riding centre into the large residential development.

It is with pride that Walker Mower were awarded the job as Mechanical Contractors for Kingston after exceeding performance expectations on projects previously with the client, London Square. Working as sub-contractors through another of our clients, R.G. Evans, the team at Walker Mower will be undertaking the mechanical design of all areas of the development, including plumbing, heating, ventilation and cooling and drainage. Calculations will also be generated to ensure that all designs are created in accordance with the relevant building standards, and to ensure work on site is undertaken with minimal hinderance.

The Kingston-upon-Thames development sits in a tree-lined setting, and once built will include communal gardens as well as a dedicated place space. The site lies just over a mile from the centre of Kingston and offers local amenities, restaurants, leisure facilities and natural walks within a short distance.
